Steve and I met on a blind date set up by our friends. We dated for four years before we married. We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary this year.

My parents, Jerry and Rita Walsh, named me after Sharon Kelly, daughter of Larry. I enjoy cooking, baking and entertaining our friends, relatives and neighbors, especially during the holidays. I have great memories of family vacations at Houghton and Hamlin Lake and our traditional Christmas Eve celebrations. My dad's youngest brother, Jim, who also was my godfather, drove me to my first job interview at Ford Motor Company where I ended up having a 23 year career in Human Resources. He also gave me my first watch when I was 3 years old, which to this day still works great, and I still wear.
