Bob grew up in Detroit and moved to Florida in 1960. He lived in Winter Haven from 1960 to his death in 1985.
He met Penny at Michigan State University on a blind date in 1959.
Bob helped Walt Disney World, Sea World Florida, and others in the development of their landscaping for the various theme parks.
He loved all sports and supported the Florida Gators and Tampa Bay Bucs for years. His cousin, Emmett Kelly Jr (Major) worked for him and they had great times together.
